Shopping

Today is mother's day, and it really was quite lovely. For her present, I got my mom a digital picture frame for her desk and work. She was thrilled! It made me feel so good. (:

We went to breakfast at her favorite little diner, then we went to the regional market. It's basically a really small flea market that's open air/under pavilions. She picked up a ton of stuff there and had a ton of fun. I also got in on the shopping and bought two keys that I'm going to make a necklace out of and two really beautiful pins.

Then, because the mall is right across the street, we did a little more shopping. And my dad was with us, and he always has money x)

At H&M I got
This high-waisted skirt. I've never had one before, but I LOVE it!
and these leggings

In Aerie I got these shorts that look sooo comfy that I couldn't resist

and this dress that is really cute and really comfy as well

and then these undies from Victoria's Secret(they make THE BEST undergarments)

Harry Potter trailer

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! THIS IS AMAZING!
As you have probably heard by now, I am a massive Harry Potter fan, especially of the Ron and Hermione relationship. And I highly dislike Lavender Brown. x] therefore, this new TV trailer is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.

YAY

Right Now

I am...

Eating: A plain doughnut from the local supermarket. It's very tasty ^-^

Drinking: Maxwell House coffee, three sugars and a bit of cream, out of my favorite Barnes&Noble mug

Wishing: That I didn't have to clean my room.

Hoping: That he noticed me last night.

Wanting: A roof-top garden that I could host coffee parties on or just curl up and read a good boook.

Nature

Nature is so beautiful and inspiring. I think it's utterly amazing that such beautiful things come out of such a dark, hot earth. I could spend all day outside on a day like today, just enjoying all the little sights, smells, and creatures. I love sitting in the grass, you get such a nice point of view.

It's also amazing that some flowers live while others die...

The Merchant Of Venice by William Shakespeare

This is the book I am currently reading. It's very confusing in most spots, but from what I understand, I really like it. To tell you the truth, I really only know the base of what's going on "/.
Fun Fact: Shakespeare himself created the name Jessica(my name) for this book. <----the main reason I'm reading it. Is that weird/wrong of me?

Some other books that I picked up at Barnes & Noble are Atonement by Ian McEwan and Confessions of a Shopaholic Sophie Kinsella. Just two more to add to my ever growing list of books to read....

Grandmothers

DG is not my real grandmother. She is just, in every aspect, all I could ever ask for in a grandmother. She's my mom's best friends mom. If that makes any sense. But for my whole life she's been my DG(designated grandmother).
Yesterday we went to her house so that my mom could plant her garden for her. It was such a beautiful day at her log cabin in the woods(she seriously does live in a log cabin in the woods. She and Poppy built it themselves in the 80s.)

Whilst there we decided that, because DG makes beautiful quilts, that we were going to make one together. I already have one from her from when I was 6 or 7, but it has unicorns on it. I love it and it's on my bed year-round, but like I said to her, I can't take unicorns to college with me. So we're going to make a new one! Here are the fabrics:

We spent the whole day outside, so I snapped a few pictures of Abbey, their dog, and a little froggy that I found in the garden.

I've had a lovely time with this warm weather.

Hasn't the warm weather been soo wonderful? It's given me the opportunity to take lots of picutres and to really just soak up the sun(while trying not to get any color. My best friend because SPF 70). How have you been enjoying the weather?

My little flowers.

Me and the creek.

New buds on the trees, reading To Kill a Mockingbird, and enjoying the sun's rays.

The sunset and my grandmother's Bleeding Heart plant.

One of my favorite dresses.
