The Merchant Of Venice by William Shakespeare

This is the book I am currently reading. It's very confusing in most spots, but from what I understand, I really like it. To tell you the truth, I really only know the base of what's going on "/.
Fun Fact: Shakespeare himself created the name Jessica(my name) for this book. <----the main reason I'm reading it. Is that weird/wrong of me?

Some other books that I picked up at Barnes & Noble are Atonement by Ian McEwan and Confessions of a Shopaholic Sophie Kinsella. Just two more to add to my ever growing list of books to read....

  1. i'm reading romeo and juliet right now in english class (:
and i feel your pain- so many books, so little time, story of my life.. (haha, no pun intended) but yeah, i have like THEEE longest list of books to read but i don't have any time! i wish i could stay home from school just to read all day (:

  2. Ooh, I love Romeo and Juliet. We finished that a couple of months ago. I hate reading books like that in class though just because no one really appreciates how well written they are!
Yes, staying home all day and just reading sounds wonderful...

  3. Confessions of a Shopaholic is one of my favourite books.

And hm Merchant of Venice is great. But your right, a bit hard to understand.

    I like your blog.
    Stop by sometime:

  4. I think I'm going to read Confessions of a Shopaholic next...

So far from what I've gathered out of The Merchant of Venice, it's really lovely. I like it a lot.

  5. Macbeth is a wonderful story, my favorite by far. But then again I haven't read The Merchant of Venice
