>:(

As you may or may not have heard, I am a MASSIVE Harry Potter fan. The newest movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is set for release on July 15, and I'm of course seeing at at 12:01 am on the day (: but I'm rather apprehensive to do so. HBP is my second favorite book, so I want them to do a really fantastic job of it, but I despise it when they change things!!!!! I know, they can't get it perfect, but still! They should try.
The two things that piss me off the most are the added Burrow burning scene, which does not need to be there AT ALL and the fact that they took out Dumbledore's funeral. Dumbledore's funeral is not a key piece, but it should be in there. It was very important to Harry(don't make fun of me, but it was!)

These videos are making me mad. Yes, they look good and the movie will still probably be amazing(set aside from the fact that they've changed things)

  1. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan too. I can't wait for this movie. I'm probably going to cry. LOL I brought I box of tissues with me when I saw OoTP. :'( I cried so hard when Sirius died. He was just amazing. But Bellatrix is still the fiercest woman ever. Even though she's evil and deranged.

  2. The countdown at the top of your blog sort of did give it away. :)
Movies never do complete justice to the books--they have to cut certain things out, but it is definitely frustrating when they change things.

  3. yeah i understand your worries of whether or not they'll do a good job of remaking the book. the next movie disney's making in the narnia series is "the voyage of the dawn treader" - one of my favorite books in the series. i hope they don't ruin it.

  5. Can't wait to see the movie! It's always interesting to see how the film differs from the books (sometimes good and sometimes bad!)
